Question:

Which of the following statements about Rhode Island's speed limits is FALSE?

A
explanation

You must not exceed the legal maximum speed limit. However, speed limits are designed for ideal driving conditions. Rhode Island's Basic Speed law requires you to drive no faster than is safe for current road conditions, even if this means driving below the posted speed limit. Rhode Island law requires slower vehicles to keep right except when passing or turning left. A few US states allow you to exceed the speed limit momentarily to pass a vehicle under certain conditions, but not Rhode Island. In Rhode Island, the speed limit in a school zone is 20 mph whenever schools are open. [M. Safe Driving on the Highway, III. Basic Driving Skills and Safety Rules, Rhode Island Driver's Manual], [R. In the midst of finishing up learning on the older app, it told me to download this newer version. However, I didn’t want to have to go through all those questions again, so I simply finished reviewing on the old app and took the practice test on this newer app. Upon completion of the tests, it would not let me move forward or see my score! How should I know if I have done well enough to pass if I cannot see my own score?
