When making a U-turn, you must NOT

A make it on a curve or near a hill where visibility is limited.

Before you make a U-turn, you must yield the right-of-way to pedestrians and approaching vehicles. In New Jersey, you must not make a U-turn on a curve or on or near a grade if you cannot be seen by drivers approaching from either direction within 500 feet. [N.J.S.A. 39:4-125]
