The Kansas Division of Vehicles is in charge of motor vehicles and licenses. The Department of Revenue in the state oversees this division. If you are a Kansas resident and have motor vehicle and license needs, you must go to a Driver's License Exam Station or a county treasurer's office.
Everything pertaining to your motor vehicle is handled by the local county treasurer. If you have titling, registration, and license plate needs, visit a county treasurer. Before going, check the operating hours of your county treasurer.
Driver's licenses and ID cards are handled by Driver License Exam Stations. These stations also conduct driving tests and issue driving records.
Some stations offer full services, while others just offer limited services. Limited-service stations are unable to handle CDLs. Make sure to visit a full-service station if you have a CDL.
You don't have to visit the DMV for every service. There are a number of online services provided by the Kansas Division of Vehicles. With online services, you can reinstate your driver’s license, renew your tag, or change the address on your license or ID card.
For the other services, you must go to the DMV. The Division of Vehicles does, fortunately, provide a variety of forms online. Therefore, you won’t have to fill out your forms in person, you can do it beforehand. When your number is called, you'll be ready to go. As a result of this, you can save a lot of time spent at the DMV.
The Kansas DMV can be contacted by phone or by mail. You can get the answers to your questions or send in your forms when you get in touch with the right office.
