Question:
Currently, 46 states including Pennsylvania are members of the Driver's License Compact (DLC). Under the terms of the DLC, each member state has agreed to treat certain offenses committed in other states as if those offenses had occurred in the member state. Hence, if you hold a Pennsylvania driver's license and commit certain offenses in another state, your license will be suspended or revoked as if you had committed the offense in Pennsylvania. These offenses include vehicular manslaughter or homicide, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run) in which someone was injured or killed, and any felony involving the use of a motor vehicle. [Driver's License Compact (DLC); Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or a Controlled Substance; Chapter 4: Driving Record Information; Pennsylvania Driver's Manual], [75 Pa. C. S. § 1581]
