Question:

To lessen the chance of a collision, stay at least _________ behind the vehicle ahead of you for each 10 mph of speed.

A one car length
explanation

You should stay at least one car length (about 20 feet) behind the vehicle in front of you for each 10 mph of speed. At high speeds or in bad weather, increase your following distance. However, many drivers have difficulty judging distances while they're driving. Hence, the three-seconds-plus rule is often a better way to determine a safe following distance.

The driving “digest” is so fricking boring to read but I learned more through this app. It’s like quizlet for driving and temps practice. It’s completely free which is fantastic because many other apps of this nature cost like $10 for something you’re going to use for a limited time. I recommended it to all my friends that will soon take the test
