In Mississippi, the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Revenue is responsible for driver and motor vehicle tasks. Both offer online services and have offices all across the state.
You can go to one of the many offices all over the state if you need to get your license. There are testing offices, driver’s license stations, driver’s license bureaus, etc. The state also has license renewal kiosks located in many places, including the Department of Public Safety Headquarters and courthouses.

The Department of Revenue is responsible for issuing titles, tags, and registrations. Although the department has offices all around the state, you can simply renew your tags online. The online renewal of tags is not available in all counties. To find out if your county provides this service, you must contact it. If it does, you will be taken to the website of your county and guided through the process of renewing your tag online.
You have the option of getting a standard plate or a specialty one when you get your plates in MS. There are several specialty plates available in the state, including ones for Down syndrome awareness, the University of Alabama, Belhaven University, Auburn University, and Elvis Presley Fan Club.
