Services related to licenses and motor vehicles are handled by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. You must go to the right office because this department splits the two services up.
Visit a Motor Vehicle Office if you need a tag, title, or registration. You must visit a Driver Service location if you need a driver's license.
Additionally, if you need to take a driver's test, you will need to go to a different location. The Arkansas State Police is in charge of conducting driver examinations. Exam locations are spread out over the state of Arkansas. Before you arrive at the station, confirm the location's hours.
You can make an appointment if you plan to take a commercial road test. After that, you won't have to wait to take your test; you can just walk straight in. If you're taking any other kind of driver test, all you have to do is to show up at the right office during business hours and take the test there. First come, first served.
