You have parked facing up a steep hill. If you drive an automatic, you should leave your car in "park." Which gear should you use with a manual?

A First gear

It is best to leave your car in "park" if you are driving an automatic. If you are driving a manual, you should choose a gear that will oppose the direction your car might roll. In this situation, you should leave your car in first gear. [Parking on a Hill, Parking, Laws and Rules of the Road, California Driver Handbook]

In the midst of finishing up learning on the older app, it told me to download this newer version. However, I didn’t want to have to go through all those questions again, so I simply finished reviewing on the old app and took the practice test on this newer app. Upon completion of the tests, it would not let me move forward or see my score! How should I know if I have done well enough to pass if I cannot see my own score?
