Question:

Which of the following statements about North Carolina's speed limits is FALSE?

image
A On a two-lane road, you may exceed the speed limit by 10 mph to pass another vehicle safely.
explanation

In North Carolina, you must not exceed the legal maximum speed limit. (A few US states allow you to exceed the speed limit temporarily to pass a vehicle under certain conditions, but not North Carolina.) However, speed limits are designed for ideal driving conditions. Slow down below the speed limit when driving conditions are poor or hazardous. Driving too slowly can also be dangerous. Slower vehicles should drive in the right lane and let other vehicles pass wherever possible. In the midst of finishing up learning on the older app, it told me to download this newer version. However, I didn’t want to have to go through all those questions again, so I simply finished reviewing on the old app and took the practice test on this newer app. Upon completion of the tests, it would not let me move forward or see my score! How should I know if I have done well enough to pass if I cannot see my own score?
