In Mississippi, when are you allowed to make a left turn at a red light?

In Mississippi, you may make a left turn at a red light if you are turning from a one-way street onto another one-way street. You must still come to a complete stop and yield to traffic and pedestrians before turning. Note: The laws on this are different in some other states. A few states (e.g., Michigan) also allow you to turn left from a two-way street onto a one-way street. Some other states (e.g., Missouri) prohibit left turns on red altogether.
