You must have a valid driver's license, instruction permit, intermediate license, or restricted license to drive in Wyoming. A vision screening, a written test, and a driving test are all required to earn a Wyoming driver's license. The Wyoming written test contains questions on road signs and signals, pavement markings, road rules, and safe driving practices, as well as other information from the Wyoming Driver's Manual. The WY DOT knowledge test has 50 questions, and you must answer at least 40 of them correctly to pass (80%). Prepare for the official Wyoming DOT test by practicing with our Wyoming permit test.
